Celebrating 10 Years of Artistry

Being in business for 10 years is an amazing accomplishment and deserving of a spectacular celebration. It's been a dream of mine to create an "edible room" much like the infamous chocolate factory in my favorite childhood movie ,"Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". This movie served as the inspiration for my 10th anniversary party but with an elegant twist. I called upon an incredibly creative planner, Brynn Swanson of First Look Events, to help make my vision come true. Known for pushing boundaries of the norm, she took the concept to a whole new level by gathering the most creative vendors in the wedding industry and challenging us with the task of elevating our art beyond our own imaginations.

Every detail of the event was created with a purpose in mind starting with a three-dimensional wave acrylic invitation created by Platypus Papers. In addition to the sleek yet whimsical invite we included a copper band keepsake featuring a classic Willy Wonka quote to allure guests to the fun evening awaiting them.

As guests arrived at Palettes at the Denver Art Museum, they were welcomed to experience a world of Pure Imagination. Spinning cakes, floating sugar flowers, and buttercream piped walls drew them in to get a closer look.

Hundreds of wafer paper flowers flowed from the ceiling, gracefully falling past poured sugar place cards and cascading onto the table.

The place settings featured Rose gold edged chocolate menus created by Dice Chocolates and were adorned with sugar anemones and greenery made with with wafer paper.

Guests were entertained by Elite Entertainment with a photo booth starring a french macaron and buttercream piped backdrop which may have led to some tasty shenanigans.

The lounge area was transformed into the ultimate chic candy store where the sweets were abundant from mini rose shaped cakes to airy meringue kisses. Attendees sipped on violet fizzy lifting drink created by infusing champagne with pink and blue cotton candy.

At the end of the evening guests left with a custom keepsake, an etched box featuring Rachael's favorite quote with a tasty treat inside.

Dressed in purple gowns from Adrianna Papell, Brynn and Rachael were all dolled up by Heidi Collins with stunning hair and makeup. They were treated like queens and adorned in artfully designed jewelry by Kendra Scott.

Cheers to another 10 years!
