This cake was designed using the bride and groom’s wedding invitation as inspiration.  We free handed the scroll pattern from the invitation in larger form, added the monogram and satin ribbons, and accented with hot pink gumpaste flowers.  It’s a classy combination of hexagon and round shapes as well… my favorite. This cake is simply elegant.  It’s covered with ivory fondant  and adorned with fondant swags that mimic fabric.  There are small diamond patterned dots as well that add just a touch of decor.  The fresh orchids and bear grass bring life to the cake.
