Tying it all together

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Stamping cakeKrista and John hand crafted their wedding invitations and did a fantastic job!  We were able to recreate the invitation design on their cake using edible ink.  It’s a great way to tie your theme together.  After all, if you spent that much time creating your invitations, you should show it off in as many places as you can.

Their cake had two layers of chocolate cake with chocolate espresso mouse and one layer of coconut cake with chocolate mousse.

An array of novelty cakes

Friday, August 21st, 2009

This was quite busy week for novelty cakes.

We made a cute baby shower cake composed of 6 baby blocks.  Three blocks were chocolate fudge cake with caramel cream and three blocks were vanilla bean cake with fresh strawberry filling.   If was a fun cake and all three of us girls had a hand in making it.  Way to go ladies!
